Retired United States Marine after 21 years of service with 17 being in the Information Technology field. It was challenging yet a fulfilling career. The 17 years was a blessing having had multiple assignments which has contributed to my personal and professional growth. My last assignment provided me the opportunity to enter the Infosec community and contribute to the building of a Cyber Defense capability for the Marine Corps. I’ve really enjoyed the continuous learning and immersing myself within the infosec community. I’m originally from Portland, Maine but recently relocated to Wake Forest NC from Ellicott City, Maryland. I’m the proud father of Daniel (19) and Preston (12). My hobbies are actually kind of in line with my career (But I’m trying to make that not the case and buy a boat). I enjoy keeping up to date with information security trends, news and technology. I’m also a self-taught acoustic guitar player (lefty) which means I’m not very good.
